We are looking for a news reporter with strong writing skills to help us expand our coverage of local government/politics. NABJ/AP photo internship (not open, will update in fall)

The National Association of Black Journalists is partnering with The Associated Press to provide a six-month internship to an aspiring photographer this fall. The partnership between NABJ, which provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists, and the AP, an independent global news organization dedicated to factual reporting, brings together two journalism leaders who are focused on diversifying newsrooms and creating more inclusive journalism. 

The NABJ-AP team seeks a talented and ambitious college student or recent graduate for its internship. As a photo news gathering intern, you will cover breaking news, sports and enterprise assignments as a field photographer in a U.S. city.
